This vertical level sensor is designed for measuring liquid levels in fresh water and black water tanks. This variant has a sensor length of 48 cm and provides a resistive level signal of 10–180 Ω.
The sensor is made of stainless steel and features a protective stainless steel cover that prevents dirt from entering the sensor mechanism. The construction makes it suitable for both fresh water tanks and tanks with wastewater or black water.
Installation is carried out vertically via an international 5-hole flange. The sensor length of 48 cm is the length of the product and should be compared with the tank depth and the planned installation location.
The resistive signal range of 10–180 Ω is compatible with suitable level instruments with the same input characteristics. Documented instrument families and instruments include 27.438.xx, 27.538.xx, 27.320.05, 27.321.05, and 27.322.05.
The sensor complies with the substance limits of the RoHS Directive (EU) 2015/863, which amends Annex II to Directive 2011/65/EU.
