VIP Intensity MKI 150 N foam lifejacket is an orange inherent buoyancy lifejacket for adults and persons with a body weight over 40 kg. The lifejacket is rated at 150 N and complies with EN ISO 12402-3.
Buoyancy is provided by soft foam, meaning the lifejacket works without inflation, cartridges, or manual activation. The compact design makes it easier to stow on board, while the black waist strap is secured with a quick-release buckle.
The lifejacket is equipped with a whistle and retro-reflective tape, which support acoustic signaling and visibility in an emergency, respectively. The model does not have an integrated safety harness.
The automatic signal light with item no. 22.409.23 can be mounted on the lifejacket and is sold separately. When sailing according to Italian equipment requirements more than 6 nautical miles from the coast, the lifejacket must be combined with this automatic light. Always check the applicable safety and equipment requirements for the current waters and vessel.
The estimated service life under normal use is 10 years from the date of manufacture. The lifejacket does not require periodic servicing like an inflatable lifejacket, but an annual visual inspection is recommended. Always follow the instructions and markings on the lifejacket itself.
