WAGO 221-613 lever terminal block with operating levers, 3-conductor, 0.5–6 mm², 30 pcs.

This lever-operated spring pressure terminal block from the WAGO 221 series is model 221-613 with three conductor entries for connecting and distributing solid, stranded, and fine-stranded copper conductors. It handles conductor cross-sections from 0.5 to 6 mm², and all three clamping points are electrically connected to the same potential. The pack contains 30 pieces.

The CAGE CLAMP® technology and the orange levers allow for tool-free connection and make it possible to reopen the connection. Strip the conductor 12–14 mm, lift the lever, insert the conductor fully to the stop, and lower the lever. Fine-stranded conductors can be connected without crimping ferrules, while the transparent housing allows for visual inspection of the conductor positioning.

According to IEC/EN, the terminal block is rated for 450 V and 41 A with a rated impulse voltage of 4 kV at overvoltage category II and pollution degree 2. According to UL 486C, the ratings are 600 V and 30 A in Use Group C. The maximum ambient temperature is +85 °C, the continuous service temperature is 105 °C, and the temperature marking is T85.

The housing is made of transparent polycarbonate with orange levers and has a flammability rating of UL 94 V-2. A single terminal block measures 22.9 mm in width, 10.1 mm in height, and 21.1 mm in depth, and weighs 4 g. The conductors are inserted from the side.

Standards and approvals include IEC 60998, EN 60998, UL 486C, and UL 467, as well as CB, ENEC, and cULus approvals. The product also has marine approvals from ABS, DNV GL, and Lloyd’s Register and is RoHS-compliant without exemptions. Check current certificate requirements for project-specific applications.

The terminal block can be used before or after placement in a compatible mounting carrier. WAGO 221-510, item no. 14.286.51, is the documented mounting carrier for the 6 mm² versions and can be mounted on a DIN 35 rail or screwed onto a flat surface. Installation must be performed while de-energized by a qualified electrician and within the product's electrical and thermal limits.
