This blackout blind for deck hatches from Waterline Design is a removable blackout solution for boat cabins. Model 1515 / WLD/1515 measures 800 × 800 mm and is intended for deck hatches with an opening of up to 720 × 720 mm.
The blind is quickly mounted with suction cups and therefore does not require a permanent curtain track or fixed bracket mounting. On glass and other suitable smooth surfaces, the suction cups can be attached directly, so the blind can be easily put up and taken down as needed.
When choosing a size, measure the deck hatch opening or cut-out dimensions. The blind must be larger than the opening, and this variant can be used for a maximum hatch opening of 720 × 720 mm. The fit is based on the hatch dimensions rather than a specific hatch brand.
When the blind is not in use, it can be stored in the included storage bag. For fiberglass hatches or other surfaces without a suitable smooth area, the self-adhesive mounting plate WLD1542 can be used as a base for the suction cup. Suction cups are also available as spare accessories under product code WLD9001.
The documented moisture and heat insulation WLD6315 measuring 800 × 800 mm is compatible with model 1515 and can be installed as an extra layer between the deck hatch and the blind.
