Description

Extremely powerful, compact and quiet, the Air Top Evo 55 ensures a comfortable climate. For larger boats where lots of heat is required and high demands are made. Very quiet in operation - Also a great advantage for a good night's sleep.

It comes with the new MultiControl timer/thermostat, which offers 3 additional different operating modes depending on individual heating requirements. The Air Top Evo 55 Evo is supplied with mounting parts* for the heater and control unit.

· Heat output 1.5 5.0 (5.5*) kW
· Fuel 5,100 -17,000 (18,800*) BTU/h
· Rated power consumption 15 - 95 (130) W
· Air outlet Ø 90 mm
· Extraction Ø 24 mm
* Boost power level for a maximum duration of 30 min.

Including mounting parts for heater and control unit:
· Control panel
· External temp. sensor
· Wiring harness
· Exhaust with silencer
· Exhaust through-hull
· Fuel hose
· Intake hose w/muffler
· Tank/suction nozzle
· Fuel filter
· Brackets and clamps

NOTE: Boat mounting kit for air distribution must be ordered separately.

INSTALLATION OF HEATERS:
· Diesel heaters "rumble" a bit, so they should be placed in the stern/chest bench/engine compartment so that the sound is not heard in the cabin (apart from a little air noise).
· The exhaust gas is routed into a "swan neck" up under the deck and then out through the side/stern.
· Fresh, oxygen-rich air is led heated into the cabin(s) through air hoses.
· Air recirculation = repeated heating of hot air is not recommended.
· Fresh air is easier to "heat" than recirculated air.
· The room in which the heater is placed must be well ventilated with sufficient "cold" fresh air supply.
· The heater's combustion air must either be led to an open valve or taken from outside (called balanced exhaust).
· Experience shows that the heater itself is "only" about 50%. The marine accessories and the installation itself are at least 50% of the finished result.
