This Xintex G-2B-R sensor extension cable of 20 ft / 6 m is used between the display/control unit and the external gas sensor in compatible marine gas detector systems. The cable allows the sensor to be positioned at the required monitoring location in the installation.
The sensor extension cable is documented for the Xintex G-2B-R gas/petrol detector and the Xintex P2BS propane gas detector. It is equipped with quick-disconnect plugs for connection to the system's control unit and sensor.
During installation, the cable is routed from the control unit to the sensor's location and secured with mounting hardware suitable for the installation. The cable must not be pinched, kinked, or subjected to excessive mechanical strain at the connectors.
The cable must not be cut or shortened. The nominal length is 20 ft, corresponding to approximately 6 m as a trade designation. The product is supplied as 1 unit.
