Description

Zinc anode for heat exchanger 1/2" is an effective sacrificial anode that protects the engine's cooling system against galvanic corrosion. The anode is installed in the heat exchanger and corrodes instead of the vital metal parts, which extends the service life of both the heat exchanger and the engine.

The zinc rod is supplied with a brass plug for easy installation and can be shortened as needed to fit the specific installation. An important component in the maintenance of marine engines with a closed cooling system.
